Me with my dog of honor on my wedding day!

About Me

My name is Emily Conrad. I currently work at a psychiatric institution and completing my degree and my hope is to one day become a therapist. I love what I do, but I have always wanted a job working with animals.

Last year, my dog was apart of my wedding. Not only did everyone love her, but she also kept me calm (because being a bride can be quite nerve-wracking) and I could not imagine doing it without her with me. And I know there are lots of other brides (and grooms) out there who feel the same way, so I want to help make it happen!

My parents looked after my dog most of the time, which I am very thankful for, but this means that she took their attention away from the wedding at times, so I want to help alleviate that responsibility for others so that everyone can be fully present.

I also have two other dogs who are not as well-mannered as my golden girl so they had to stay behind. While I would have loved to have them there, I wouldn't have had anyone to focus on them. I don't want that to have to be a worry for anyone, I want everyone to be able to include their pups.
I have experience working with dogs of all shapes and sizes and temperaments. I have a Golden Retriever, a Great Pyrenees, a Bichon, and I previously had a cattle dog. I have trained multiple dogs. My one dog is very reactive, so I had to learn how to deal with her quirks, so if your dog is reactive, no big deal! I know how to handle it.
I am trained in dog CPR and all of the ways to stop a dog from choking and I know basic first aid. I also always carry around a dog first aid kit, just in case. Hopefully nothing goes wrong with your pup, but on the off chance that something does, they'll be in good hands.
